Meditation

Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years, in many different cultures. Its roots are found in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism, and it has been used to deepen understanding of the sacred and mystical forces of life.  In the modern era, meditation has become increasingly popular as a means of stress relief, relaxation, and mindfulness. However, it is much more than that. Meditation can be used as a tool to improve our awareness and connect us to our infinite energy field, our true self.

All About

Meditation exercises can be a great way to reduce stress and cultivate inner peace. There are many types of meditation exercises available, each with its own benefits. Examples of popular meditation exercises include mindfulness meditation, mantra meditation, and guided meditation.

  • Mindfulness meditation focuses on being present in the moment and being aware of your body and thoughts.

  • Mantra meditation involves repeating a word or phrase to help you stay focused on your breath.

  • Guided meditation often involves following an audio or video recording that leads you through the meditation process.

All three of these meditation exercises can help you relax and cultivate inner peace. Mindfulness meditations include mindful breathing, body scanning, and walking meditation.

  • Mindful breathing involves focusing on one's breath, feeling the rise and fall of the chest and abdomen as one inhales and exhales.

  • Body scanning involves systematically focusing on each part of the body, allowing any sensations to come and go.

  • Walking meditation is a type of mindful movement where one focuses on their steps and surroundings.

All of these exercises can help to bring one into a relaxed, present state of mind, improve awareness, align energy centres and connect oneself to the universal consciousness .
